Thirty year old Evelyn Valde came to America in May of 2001.  She stayed with Bill and Patsy Kaeb.  In July she had surgery to repair a massive hole in her heart.  Evelyn's recovery was quick and she returned to Cayes Clinic in Haiti on September 25th.  She is once again working as a nurse.  The Kaebs keep in contact with her by phone, and she is doing very well.
